Abstract The Malagasy language is not strictly confined to Madagascar but it also spoken in Mayotte, one of the four islands which constitute Comoros archipelago. inhabitants Mayotte are, fact, divided between two very distinct mother languages, Shimaore, a Bantu dialect similar dialects other three islands, Malagasy, an Austronesian language. In turn, represented by varieties, Kibosy Kimaore, name simply means “Malagasy Mayotte” (this sometimes used indistinctly denote both varieties) and Kiantalaotsy. It usually stated that Kimaore close Northern while Kiantalaotsy Mahajanga Sakalava (Glottolog classifies as twin varieties). While we clearly confirm cladistic position find particularly Sakalava, closer South-West Madagascar. Moreover, seems be rather result multiple contributions from than offspring single or few dialects. Our outcome based upon comparison varieties with sixty different varieties.
